Why only ten
Most brands sell eighty shades and you wear four. We keep ten, each picked to look good on at least four of the six skin tones in the try-on.
To add an eleventh, one of these has to go, and we'll say which and why.

What we decided
A wide, flat brush
About as wide as a small nail, so two strokes cover it. Fewer strokes, fewer streaks.
Two coats, not three
Every shade is pigmented to cover in two, except Lilac Milk, which we say on its page.
Every ingredient on the box
Printed in full, not a "free from" count. Vegan, and no animal-derived ingredients.

Samples before bottles
Any shade comes as a 2 ml sample in an envelope, enough for one manicure. If you like it, the full bottle. If it's wrong on you after all, the 30-day return covers opened bottles too.
Pick a shadeBefore you buy
- What if it's wrong on me?
- Send it back within 30 days, even opened, with a coat's worth gone, and we refund it.
- Can I try a shade before a full bottle?
- Yes. A 2 ml sample bottle of any shade, posted in an envelope. Enough for one manicure.
- How long does a bottle last?
- About 25 manicures with two coats, if you keep the neck clean so the cap seals.
- Does it need a base and top coat?
- It's fine without. A top coat adds a day or two of wear and more shine.
- How do I get it off?
- Any acetone remover. The darks can stain a pale nail a little if worn for a week without a base coat.
- Is it vegan?
- Yes, with no animal-derived ingredients, and the full ingredient list printed on the box.
