Six kinds of visit
What happens, how long it takes, and what you'll be asked. Costs are given in writing before any treatment, never in the chair.
In pain now?
Morning slots are held back for pain. Call when we open and say "pain" first.

Check-up and clean
40 minutes
We look, clean and show you the photo on the screen.

Same-day pain visit
30 minutes
Slots held back each morning. We find the cause and stop the pain.

Filling or crown
1 to 2 visits
You see the tooth and get the written cost first. Take it home and think.

Root canal
1 to 2 visits
With the tooth numb. We say so if a specialist would do it better.

Whitening or aligners
After a check-up
Whitening over a problem hides it, so we look first.

Children
From about age one
Mostly a ride in the chair and a look.
Before you book
- What will it cost?
- A check-up has a fixed fee, told to you when you book. For anything more, you get the plan and the cost in writing first, and you can take it home before saying yes.
- Can I spread the cost?
- Yes, for treatment over a set amount: pay in monthly parts over six or twelve months, agreed in writing.
- Do you take new patients?
- Yes, adults and children. Book a check-up and that's your first visit.
- What should I bring?
- A list of any medicines you take, and your last X-rays if another practice has them. Nothing else.
- I'm in pain and you're closed.
- The answerphone gives the out-of-hours number. For swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, go to emergency care.
- What if I need to cancel?
- Call or text a day ahead and the slot goes to someone on the waiting list. No fee the first time.
