Cooked on Mondays in one small kitchen, frozen the same night, at your door on Wednesday. The pouches thaw in the fridge overnight.
Switching over, in seven days
- Days 1 and 2A quarter fresh, the rest their old food.
- Days 3 and 4Half and half.
- Days 5 and 6Three quarters fresh.
- Day 7All fresh. Loose stools in week one are common and usually settle.
In your freezer
500 g pouches, flat so they stack. Three months frozen, four days thawed. Each pouch has the recipe, the cook date and your dog's name on it.
On your doorstep
An insulated box with ice packs, fine for about eight hours. Leave a note for the rider if the dog barks at the bell.
