Before you buy
- How firm is the seat?
- Medium. Foam wrapped in feather: you sit on it, not in it, and it softens a little over the first month.
- Can I wash the covers?
- Seat and back covers zip off. Wool goes to a dry cleaner; linen washes at 30 degrees.
- What's the guarantee?
- Ten years on the beech frame and the springs, two years on the foam and cloth.
- Can I see one first?
- There's no showroom. The swatches come free by post, and the sizes on this page are the real ones, to the centimetre.
- Where do you deliver?
- Mainland addresses, booked into a two-hour window. We text when the van is near.
- What if it doesn't fit on the day?
- It goes back on the van and you don't pay for the trip. That's why the fit check comes first.
