Before you buy
- Why steel?
- It's comfortable on rough roads, and any welder in any town can fix a crack. Aluminium is lighter, but it can't be repaired that easily.
- Will it rust?
- The inside of every frame is sprayed with wax before the paint goes on, and the outside is powder coated. Keep it out of standing water and it lasts decades.
- What if the size is wrong?
- Ride it for two weeks. If it doesn't fit, we swap the frame size for free, as long as it's not scratched.
- Can I test ride?
- At the workshop in Pune, any Saturday. Book a slot and we set the saddle to your height before you arrive.
- How does it arrive?
- 95 per cent built in a box. Turn the bars straight, put the pedals on, and it's done. A spanner is in the box.
- What about servicing?
- A free check-up at one month, when cables stretch. After that, any bike shop can service it: nothing on it is proprietary.
