Nutritional Information
Vitamin D3 25 mcg167%
Why it's here: people who see little sun often run low.
Why this dose: enough to matter if you are low, and well under the upper limit, which leaves room for sun and food.
From: lichen, so it is vegan.
Evidence: good if you are low. Mixed beyond that.
Vitamin B12 12 mcg480%
Why it's here: vegans and older adults are the people most likely to be short.
Why this dose: the number looks silly because you absorb only a small share of a capsule's B12.
From: fermentation, as methylcobalamin.
Evidence: good if you are low. No energy promise.
Folic acid 680 mcg DFE227%
Why it's here: it is the standard advice for anyone who could become pregnant.
Why this dose: 400 mcg of folic acid, the amount that advice names. It counts as 680 mcg on this scale.
From: made in a lab, as folic acid, because that is the form the studies used.
Evidence: good for that use. Thin for most others.
Magnesium 100 mg23%
Why it's here: plenty of diets fall a bit short.
Why this dose: low on purpose. More would mean more capsules and, for some people, an upset stomach.
From: magnesium glycinate.
Evidence: mixed. We don't promise you sleep.
Zinc 8 mg47%
Why it's here: it tops up diets low in meat and shellfish.
Why this dose: food supplies the rest. Far more than this, for a long time, can cause its own trouble.
From: zinc bisglycinate.
Evidence: mixed. We don't claim immunity.
DHA omega-3 300 mg†
Why it's here: many people rarely eat oily fish.
Why this dose: about what a couple of fish meals a week would give you, spread by day.
From: algae, which is where the fish get it.
Evidence: mixed, and studies disagree.

Questions people ask
- Anything I might be allergic to?
- No gluten, dairy, soy, nuts or fish. The softgel's oil is from algae. The capsules are plant cellulose, so everything is vegan.
- Why does the softgel smell of the sea?
- Algal oil smells faintly of seaweed when you open the bottle. Keep it in the fridge and it mostly goes.
- How does it arrive?
- A flat box that fits through a letterbox, so nobody has to be in.
- How do I stop?
- Two taps in the email we send before each charge, or reply STOP. No call, no form.
- Can I send it back?
- Unopened, within 30 days, for the full amount. Opened and it disagreed with you: tell us and we'll refund that one.
- I'm pregnant or on medication.
- Show the label to your doctor or pharmacist first, especially for blood thinners. The panel above is what they'll want to see.
