What we wind
Four families, all custom, all from wire. Not sure which one you need? Start with what the part has to do.

Compression springs
Pushes back when squeezed
Open-coil springs that resist being pushed shorter. The most common spring we wind, and the one the calculator on the home page sizes.
- Wire
- 0.2 to 6.0 mm
- Size
- Outside diameter 2 to 60 mm, free length up to 300 mm
- Found in
- Valves, latches, switches, battery contacts, seat and pedal returns

Extension springs
Pulls back when stretched
Tightly wound so the coils press on each other at rest. That built-in squeeze, the initial tension, is the load you must pass before it starts to stretch.
- Wire
- 0.3 to 5.0 mm
- Size
- Outside diameter 3 to 50 mm, body up to 250 mm
- Found in
- Garage and trailer doors, lever returns, tensioners, gym kit

Torsion springs
Twists and returns
The coil winds tighter as the legs turn, and pushes back as a torque. We bend the legs to your angle and length.
- Wire
- 0.4 to 5.0 mm
- Size
- Leg angles to your drawing, single or double body
- Found in
- Hinges, clips, lids, mouse traps and clothes pegs, return levers

Wire forms
Holds, clips or guides
Anything bent from the same wire that isn't a coil: clips, retainers, rings and handles, made on the same CNC benders.
- Wire
- 0.5 to 6.0 mm
- Size
- Bent to your drawing, in two or three dimensions
- Found in
- Hose clips, battery clips, retainers, display hooks
